Teshon Lavia
Teshon Jimmel Lavia, professionally known as RasJomo, is a Producer, songwriter, singer and Audio Engineer from Mississauga Ontario Canada. Born and raised on the beautiful island of St Vincent and the Grenadines in 1987 October 23rd. His voice, his love for music was very evident from a young age, as he would sing along to everything that was on the radio and also try and come with his lyrics for those songs.
At age 15 he joined a small church in his community that didn’t have any active musicians at the time, so he took it upon himself to learn how to play keys and started to play for Sunday’s worship not too long after. Apart from being the only musician in the church at the time, he was also a member of the church choir and a worship leader because singing was always his first love.
He inspired other youths within the church to learn how to play a musical instrument and before you know it, the church had an active four-piece band in which he was the music director. This church band played a very important role in his development as a musician and a vocalist.
Migrating to Canada in 2008 at age 18, Rasjomo has always had to desire to produce for his music but it wasn’t until the year 2012 when he dove into music production head-on. His number one goal is to create music from the heart that would impact the lives of people in a positive way.
